The coffee is named after North Sumatra’s Mandailing people, which is an ethnic group and not so much a region. With just enough acidity to make it vibrant, Mandheling coffee often exhibits tones of sweet chocolate and liquorice, as well as a smooth, full body.  The taste of coffee develops well due to the rich volcanic soil and the tropical climate. We offer the highest grade of specialty coffee available from Sumatra: Grade 1 certified TP (Triple Picked) which means that it has been rigorously sorted by hand to remove any natural defects and ensure the best product quality.
